Diamond Light Source
Annual review 2025-26
Challenge:
Diamond Light Source had recently completed a major rebrand with a bold new visual identity. Their Annual Review 2025–26 would be the first substantial publication created using the updated brand, so it needed to demonstrate how the new design system could work across a complex, information-rich document.
Solution:
Working closely with the communications team, I designed the 52-page publication, establishing layouts, page hierarchy, typography, infographics and image treatments that balanced scientific content with engaging design.
Outcome:
The finished publication was delivered as both an interactive digital PDF and a professionally printed report, providing Diamond with a flagship publication that showcased their new brand in action.
